In 2017, National Geographic’s photographer of the year was awarded for a captivating photo of a wild Orangutan. I was inspired by the image, as well as the story, and I made it a goal in life to photograph some of the last wild Orangutans. In 2020 I made a New Year’s resolution to do some more wildlife photography and decided that this was the year I was going to do it. A week later we booked a trip to Indonesia. In the 3 weeks we visited Sumatra, Bali, and Komodo. Enjoy!
